Prestressed lintels
Prestressed brick lintels are produced in several dimensions, allowing for an optimal combination of bridging window and door openings of different wall thicknesses. They are produced in lengths from 1 to 4 meters with 20 and 25cm steps. Clear dimension of the opening and a minimum contact of 12cm on each side has to be taken into consideration with regard to the length of the brick prestressed lintel.
One support is required up to the width of 2m, while bigger dimensions require two supports. The lintels reach their load-bearing capacity when after 4 weeks mortar achieves the required hardness. The investor saves time and money by using prestressed brick lintels.
We offer prestressed brick lintels in ten different widths:
- Lintels 9 cm; 12 cm; 12 cm x 12 cm in 14 cm of 25cm-steps.
- Lintels 7,5 cm; 10 cm; 12,5 cm; 15 cm; 17,5 cm of 20cm-steps.
These options offer optimal flexibility to a variety of window and door openings in a variety of wall thicknesses.
